History of Haralson
Located in both Coweta and Meriwether county, the City of Haralson was established as the first city in Coweta in 1907. Prior to its official establishment, Haralson was a bustling town comprised of a doctor's office, a bank, a post office, a fully functioning cotton gin, and a train depot.
Today, the city still takes pride in maintaining its "small-town" roots and feel while making necessary adjustments to accommodate film opportunities that have utilized our properties since before the early 1970s.
